The TAC (Technology Access Centre) for Livestock production at Olds College, using funding from the NRC IRAP program, today began initial testing of the flokk herd management device.
Over the next several months, the TAC will complete testing of flokk with the herd. Functions to be tested include animal additions, calving, animal movements, and animal weighings.
